Jaya the Cat

Om koncerten

7 november! Jaya the Cat: Jaya the Cat make a mix of punk, reggae, and ska that will get you off the barstooland onto the dance floor. Originating in Boston and based in Amsterdam, they sing songs about the awesome weirdness of everything; the late nights, the earlier mornings, the best intentions, general confusion, the good times, the bad times, and all the beers in between. Their acclaimed LP Sex in a UFO blends garage punk, surf rock, psychedelic sounds, and eerie horror synths into a wild, addictive sonic experience. They may wear clown shoes on stage, but don't be fooled — Stjernevask takes music seriously. Their live shows are explosive, heartfelt, and impossible to stand still through. It's a sonic jolt so powerful that you stop thinking and start dancing. Now the band is back in the studio recording a new album : Stjernevask is drawing inspiration from vintage soul and blues while pushing the sound into the present day. On these new songs, Madelin Wilian breaks new artistic ground with an authentic, fearless voice that has been described as sounding like a Nordic blues Valkyrie. STARWASH is charming, soulful, unpredictable, and unforgettable.
